John Spillane to sing at Áras an Uachtaráin

Irish singer, songwriter and all round raconteur, John Spillane has been asked by Mary McAleese to sing at Áras an Uachtaráin on July 10th as part of this year’s summer garden party.

“I am very honoured to sing my songs for The President of Ireland – I’ve used Ireland as a theme for my current album “My Dark Rosaleen and The Island of Dreams” and have dedicated it to the island of Ireland and my own mother Mary.”

John is currently touring Ireland to promote his new album and will play the following venues:
