John Down Under !!

Having a lovely time down under in Austarlia. The sun is splitting the stones here in Sydney. Ah it’s a hard ol’ life balming out here on the beach in Coogee Bay. Have done the first gig which was in Melbourne at the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann HQ. Had a very good crowd, great atmosphere, and went down a bomb, even though I say so myself, like. Myself and my impresario Steve Lawler (Dub)were royally treated by Pearse and Deirde who run the club, collected us, put us up, fed everyone and could not have been nicer. Great people, from County Down, who only recently won the honour of being Irish Autralians of the Year! Fair Play to them.
Got a nice mention in the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday – it went like this;
