I worked with Derek on a number of occasions over the years, he promoted my the gigs in Whelan’s, Dublin, one of Ireland’s greatest music venues. Also in his capacity as Juliet Turner’s manager, in fact myself and my manager Lorcan were working closely with him for an upcoming double bill with myself and Juliet in the National Concert Hall at the end of this summer.
Perhaps we might dedicate this concert to his memory and for his family. He will be sadly missed, ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam, John.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, John Spillane has had to
cancel his final Australian tour dates. Sad at disappointing
his Australian fans, John is hoping to be back here sometime
soon. No details are available at this stage.

Reuniting again after their storming performance at the Marquee in Cork over the summer are Cork Singer Songwriters, John Spillane and Mick Flannery.

Meant to be a one off, a collaborative show in Glasgow months later saw the two having such a great time that the suggestion became why not play together again?

 This time the venue is set to be the atmospheric Vicar Street and promises to engage and entertain as these diverse acts come together once more.
