Okay, seriously …
We’re live around the world and finally up and running. You can reach this site using either the .com or .ie and both are now working. Yay. With anything new, it takes a little bit of time to feel the way through the muck and mire. Most importantly, the website is finally ready for you and we are so pleased with the results. It was definitely worth the wait. So, let’s look at the glass as half full and move forward.
Please take note of some things – we’re still uploading content and will continue to do so until we’re caught up. So, keeping checking back to see what we’ve added that’s new.
Very important – to get the most out of your visit here, we recommend that you view the site using the most modern browsers, i.e., Firefox and IE7. The site will load using IE6, but it will be missing all the fun stuff that makes it look fabulous and work perfectly. Just so you know.
The “where to buy” links still need to be posted in the Discography. We’re waiting on info from EMI, and we’ll try to get that up as soon as possible for you.
Oh, yes, the welcome greeting at the top of the page is not from John. We’ve put that in there so it wouldn’t be empty and we’re just waiting for John to say it in his own words. Hopefully, that will be very soon. He’s been working hard night and day, so we’ll let him slide for the moment.
And last, but not least, a very special thank you to:
1. Matt Brett, John’s website designer/developer. We love him to bits. You can visit him at http://mattbrett.com and see for yourself how very talented and cool he is.
2. Con Kelleher, John’s photographer on the “My Dark Rosaleen & The Island of Dreams” CD photo shoot. The gorgeous shot of John used on the site is from Con’s work. Adding a few different images of John to some of the pages soon is in the works. Please have a visit with Con at http://www.myspace.com/conkelleher to see some more of his beautiful portfolio. You can also view more photos from the CD shoot and other photos of John taken by Con right here on the website on the Photo page.
Please feel free to visit with us again and again. Thank you all very much for your support and enthusiasm.
